Audio Blueprint, the Los Angeles based production company recently opened Studio 7 Recording their new private production facility located in North Hollywood. This facility boasts a tranquil, plush, Zen like creative environment with cutting edge DAWs and recording techniques.
The facility is geared for the production projects and clients of Audio Blueprint who are quickly becoming known throughout the entertainment industry as progressive record producers with a unique talent to compose and produce music with a superior understanding of various genres such as R&B, Rock, Gospel, Jazz and Pop as well as for their quest for sonic integrity which has yielded great praise and a special recognition for audio editing, composition and sound design for several films.
This young company has developed a niche as the gurus for what they jokingly call Project Resurrection which is what they call various completed projects that are brought to them to “fix” that otherwise are destined for the circular files or cutting room floors. Whether it be to re-compose music around an absentee artist’s vocals that cannot be re-sung because the artist is not available, or to extract and compose music to “cover up” ill fitting canned music, or audio editing to salvage projects with severe audio glitches and sound distortion or to design sound to make scenes more believable, Audio Blueprint has successfully risen to each occasion much to the delight of these various clients who have gone on to win film festivals, get picked up for major distribution and become nominated for major music awards.
Armed with the support of their software and equipment sponsors- Sony Media Software, Sony Electronics, M-Audio, MXL Microphones, Mogami Cables, Cakewalk by Roland, Line 6, Mackie, Sennheiser, Waves, Carvin Guitars, Black Diamond Strings, Isotope and Akai they have developed a unique approach to recording “If you’re expecting to see a giant (mixing) board or anything like that- this is not the place”, says Kimo Kaulani, one of Audio Blueprint/Studio 7’s Producers. They are less concerned with the “eye candy” and are more concerned with the ease, functionality and productivity of their vast array of DAWs and Plug-Ins. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that- its just not how we are set up to work- our studio is pretty basic everything in here has got to function at optimal productivity”
