Judge Scott is certain to inspire attendees as he is a stellar example of someone who was able to rise above humble inner-city beginnings to lead a successful life distinguished by integrity and professional accomplishment, while maintaining an active role in community involvement. Judge Scott’s business and legal experience spans over 20 years. His career achievements include becoming a judge, being licensed to practice law in both Texas and Louisiana, working as a financial and insurance broker, and lecturing to professional and civic organizations on various topics including wills and probate law, and financial and business matters.
Judge Scott is the CEO and founder of BlackAmericanSuccess.com, a self-development firm specializing in tools and ideals designed to inform, inspire, and motivate individuals seeking personal fulfillment and professional success. He is also the author of two books including “The Promise: A Black Man’s Guide to Money, Power & Respect,” which explores the principles of success in an easy to read and fictional format, and “Big Momma’s Ten Commandments for Abundant Living,” which shares ten principles on how to live your life more abundantly.
His community work includes serving as a board member of a highly successful pre-school for inner-city children, and of a community-based chamber of commerce which develops business education and business development in the Black community. In addition to these things, he also performs free workshops on the principles of success and achievement for youth and church groups.
He earned a bachelor of science degree from Louisiana State University, and a juris doctorate degree from Southern University Law Center. While a student at Dale Carnegie® Training, he received their Highest Award for Achievement.
