In spite of the obvious elegance of our work, Hablinski + Manion Architecture LLP does not ignore the more practical elements of design. By understanding our clients' priorities and budget requirements, we carefully integrate these into an outwardly graceful environment. Our active participation in the construction process ensures the proper execution of fine workmanship and we monitor each residence on behalf of our clients. Our firm takes great interest in the integrity of the complete design of our work, including site planning, architecture, and interior architecture, by which we create a complete "design package" for our clients' needs. Our projects in the United States are located in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New York, and Texas; and we have designed projects abroad in France, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, and Singapore.
William Hablinski received his professional degrees from the University of Texas including a Bachelor of Architecture in 1970, and post-graduate work in city planning. He has been a practicing architect for over 20 years, and is licensed to practice architecture in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Texas. Mr. Hablinski is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Richard Manion received his architectural degree from Columbia University in the City of New York in 1984. While at Columbia, he studied architecture under Robert A. M. Stern and American and European architectural history under noted historians Howard Hibbard and Joseph Connors. In New York, he worked in the offices of Robert Venturi and Robert A. M. Stern. Mr. Manion is a member of the American Institute of Architects, serves on the Board of Directors of and lectures for The Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America Southern California Chapter, and is licensed to practice architecture in California.
Hablinski + Manion Architecture LLP was established in 1995 as the successor firm to Hablinski Architecture, founded in 1976. The firm has a staff of 26 and offices located in Los Angeles, California and Austin, Texas. Works of the firm have been published in Angelino, Architectural Digest, California Homes, The Classicist, journal of The Institute of Classical Architecture, Robb Report, Robb Report Luxury Home, and Veranda. The growing international reputation of the firm has been recognized through publication in The Franklin Report, a reference guide to high-end residential architects, in The Style Group as one of the top 10 residential architects, in Robb Report as one of the top 30 residential architects, and publication in the book Dream Houses of Los Angeles.
