¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? –
“Language as a Tool for Communication”
Since 1986 we have been offering a great variety of Spanish language courses with 6 different levels for foreign students of all ages and from all over the world. Escuela Montalbán is one of the first and most experienced Spanish language schools based in Granada.
The school building with it´s distinctive Andalusian style is located nearby the impulsive city-centre. The best learning facilities are provided, including large, spacious class-rooms with modern audio-visual equipment and a pretty Andalusian courtyard where students enjoy informal gatherings and organized parties.
We are a non-profit organization where all members work as fully coordinated team in order to fulfill the administrative tasks and the well-being of the students. The Spanish courses are always complemented by an extensive cultural program.
In the afternoons and evenings a variety of activities are available such as: conferences concerning present-day topics of interest, film sessions or guided tours to the Alhambra. Great views over the city can be found while strolling through the narrow streets of the old Moorish quarter of the Albaicín up to the Place St. Nicolás. We recommend as well one of the massages in the famous Arabic Baths after having a busy day or simply for relaxing. Every weekend we ofer an interesting travel program as well. It includes tours such as to the marvellous villages of the Alpujarras, to different nature parks and guided tours to Seville, Córdoba or Morocco.
Above all some more words concerning Granada, the city where everything takes place! Granada is the birthplace of the poet Federico García Lorca and without doubt, it is one of the most fascinating cities in Andalusia, Southern Spain. Furthermore, it is also an important university town with almost 300,000 inhabitants and more than 60,000 students, which makes the city “alive and open-minded”
With its world-famous Alhambra, rich culture and lively nightlife, it is the ideal place for studying and taking a holiday. Enjoy a weekend on the Mediterranean coast; participate in winter sports, horse-riding or trekking in the Sierra Nevada National Park; watch gypsy Flamenco in Sacromonte and dance Salsa and Tango in one of Granada's many exciting bars. These are just a few of the many possibilities.
Escuela Montalbán is accredited by the the Spanish Instituto Cervantes and a member of TANDEM International.
