Nassau County, NY - The Mid Nassau Democratic Club (MNDC) welcomed North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Nassau County Department of Assessment Ombudsman Dolores Sedacca to their monthly meeting on February 19.
“We were very impressed with Supervisor Kaiman and very pleased with the presentation by Ombudsman Sedacca,” said Dan Checkla, the MNDC President. “We are always striving to get the best speakers for our members and meeting attendees.”

Sedacca took the speaking opportunity to educate the attendees about grieving their taxes.
She informed the attendees that a Nassau County resident has from January 2 until March 2 to grieve his or her taxes. The next MNDC meeting will be on March 19. The guest speaker will be Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg. All meetings are open to the public and refreshments are served.
The Mid Nassau Democratic Club consists of Democrats from all areas of the Nassau County community. MNDC membership consists of elected officials, community leaders, senior citizens, young professionals and all other concerned individuals who seek to raise awareness of Nassau County's issues. The purpose of the club is to raise community awareness. Membership is open to all.
