SAN DIEGO – Skin Trade, the only San Diego waxing and facials boutique owned and operated by a registered nurse, will donate 10 percent of all new business sales in the month of March to Ronald McDonald Houses of Southern California. With a strong passion for helping children, Barbara Galagusz, RN and founder of Skin Trade, strives to support the mission of the Ronald McDonald House that seeks to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. The Ronald McDonald House depends largely on the donors, volunteers, staff and friends of individual chapters and Skin Trade plans to donate to the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego chapters to honor the three areas they serve.
“Ensuring that children have the support and resources available to them to live a healthy and happy life is incredibly important to me,” states Galagusz. “Whether I am volunteering with a local organization or donating proceeds from my business, I strive to give back and support others any chance I get. With the vast services that the Ronald McDonald House provides, I feel like my organization is directly serving children and their families by donating the funds that provide access to medical support, educational programs, recreational activities, shelter and more. ”
Skin Trade provides a variety of services that include customized euro-facials, a signature Skin Trade facial, euro back treatment, MediBac acne facial, multivitamin power exfoliate facial, pick-me-up intaglio peels, on-the-go facial, and a for-men-only facial.
