Influence Direct announced today the update of their reverse mortgage mailing lists to include homeowners now eligible under the new HECM reverse mortgage limit increase to $625,500. Established as a result of the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), the new HUD limits allow a higher number of age 62 and older homeowners to have access to reverse mortgages.
"The increased HUD guidelines opens a new lifeline to age 62 and older homeowners who until now could not access the benefits of a reverse mortgage" says Influence Direct COO Jeremy Crosslin. "By matching the speed of our reverse mortgage database update to the speed of HUD's new HECM reverse mortgage limites, we are able to provide reverse mortgage companies access to these newly eligible prospects."
The new increase to $625,000 has added a sizeable increase to Influence Direct's reverse mortgage mailing list database bringing the total number of age-eligible reverse mortgage prospects to over 2.5 million homeowners.
