PR Log (Press Release) –
Feb 25, 2009 – Type 2 Diabetes is on the increase in many countries says the Telegraph. Fast foods and lack of exercise are creating obese children and leading to more cases of diabetes and other disease says the CBC. The BBC states children are not getting enough exercise. One of the problems is children are not motivated to put health on the priority list, nor do they really know what to do to be healthy. But now there is hope. A new book, My Health, My Body is a complete health course for children age 7 to 12. It is sure to help homeschoolers, teachers and parents. Although written from a creation, vegetarian perspective, it can be used by anyone interested in teaching health to children. The book teaches children why health is important and then moves on to teach them how to have good health, from how to exercise to what to eat. It even covers how their thoughts have an impact on their health.
