Alden-Houston Hosting a Britney Spears Pre-concert Veranda Party, After Party and Hotel Package

PR Log (Press Release) – Feb 25, 2009 – Houston – Whether she’s making a comeback or simply coming back to Houston, Britney Spears has sold out the Toyota Center for her upcoming “Circus” tour.  Fans, however, don’t need concert tickets to celebrate the pop star’s first 2009 Texas tour stop.  Just blocks from the downtown concert venue, Alden-Houston Hotel is hosting a Britney Spears “Circus” pre-concert party on its second story Veranda, complete with Britney Spears music and videos, no cover charge and cash bar.  For those without concert tickets, the party continues during the show at Alden’s a+ bar and grille, where concert-goers can join the after-party and grab a cocktail and late night bite. Outdoor seating is now available.

Alden Hotel is also offering a special “pop diva” hotel package including two-night accommodations, welcome amenity, dinner for two at award-winning restaurant, *17, “Circus” party entrance and overnight valet parking for $469.

“Our Madonna pre-concert party was a huge success,” said Susan Ward Freeman, general manager for Alden Hotel. “We expect Britney’s ‘Circus’ party to sell out as well.  With limited space available, we encourage partygoers to RSVP and arrive early, as confirmed guests will be admitted into the party on a first come, first served basis.”
