2009 Line Showcases “Bohemian Romantic Chic” styles
January XX, 2008 – Clovis, California -- Petite Fleur Designs, a creator of elegant handcrafted boutique hair bows, headbands, flower hair clips, baby and toddler hats, girl’s shirts and baby sets, today released its 2009 Spring/Summer line, inspired by Bohemian romantic chic styles.
The collection features hair accessories with a feminine edge, and designs concentrated on soft pastel colors, fancy ribbons and lace, with handcrafted details.
“The creations in my latest line are vogue looking, but actually can be worn with everyday fashions,” says Laura Gendron, owner and designer of Petite Fleur Designs. “The inspiration came from my grandmother who gave me a box of laces and trims from her ancestors. Looking at all the trims and floral prints gave me the idea to create a vintage look for this year.”
Among the creations from the 2009 Spring/Summer line are tea-dyed handmade ribbon roses on petite satin headbands. These handmade ribbon roses have an antique look with beaded stamens in the center. The Spring/Summer designs also include new petite rose hair clips and headbands.
“With this wary economy I wanted to go back to the past,” says Laura. “The simple days, when pretty pieces of lace and lots of trims were used. Your little girl will look simple, but beautiful in one of Petite Fleur Designs creations.”
