Ever wondered what to do with all those unwanted kids clothes, toys and/or books? Well, hopefully we have the answer! We are hosting our first Kids Swap Shop on 28th March 2009 at Shiremoor Community Centre from 1-3pm.
The idea is simple…
You bring a bag of clothes, toys and/or books your children no longer use, and leave with a bag of stuff donated by the other swappers. Don’t exceed 20 items.
You will receive a token with a number corresponding to the amount of items you bring. You will place your items at the designated table then have some time to browse the other stalls and meet with other young children’s parents. Once there are enough items to swap, a whistle will go and the fun can begin!

Pushy Buggies – exercise with your buggy

9 Months – children’s gifts

Book Fair
It's going to be a great opportunity to bring the family along and get their photo's taken, their faces painted, possibly get a wee make-over and browse the other fantastic stalls. There will be free refreshments and a safe place for the little ones to run around (weather permitted).
We are concentrating on kids items from the ages of 0-4. Once we get this age group established then we hope to hold events for older kids as well.
Entry is £5 at the door. Kids and and other halfs are free! If you are interested in attending it would really help us to get an idea of numbers coming if you email us at enquiries@kidzswapshop.co.uk.
A raffle will be held during the event, this is included in your entry fee. Prizes include vouchers for the various businesses mentioned above, flowers and other little kid related goodies!
