TAMPA, Fla. --- Lennar’s Central Florida Division is offering a new “Peace of Mind” Mortgage Protection Program that will pay up to $1,800 pr month for up to six months in the event a new home buyer suffers job loss due to the economy.
Mark Metheny, president of the Central Florida Division of Lennar, which builds new homes in 32 communities in Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Osceola, Orange, Lake, Seminole and Brevard counties, said Lennar’s new ‘Peace of Mind’ Mortgage Protection Program is available in select Lennar communities.
“Qualified home owners who are enrolled in the ‘Peace of Mind’ Mortgage Protection Program can benefit from up to $1,800 per month for up to six months of the home owner’s mortgage payments,” said Metheny.
Metheny said Lennar and UAMC introduced the new ‘Peace of Mind’ Mortgage Protection Program to provide new home buyers with continued confidence in their purchase decision.
“Some home buyers are troubled by the uncertainty of the national economy and job security,” said Metheny. “Lennar’s new ‘Peace of Mind’ Mortgage Protection Program offers some assurance that their mortgage obligations will be met in the interim should they suffer job loss,” he said.
Metheny said Lennar’s ‘Peace of Mind’ Mortgage Protection Program will be offered for a limited time only.
“Frankly, we expect the economy will improve soon and we won’t have a need for this kind of assurance,” Metheny said.
