Harvey – is not only the first Hip-Hop artist signed to YBS Records, he is also a founding partner along with his cousin, Charles Bell. Harvey got his name from a poverty stricken neighborhood in the New Orleans Metro Area. The city of Harvey is best known for its alarming rate of black on black crime related to drugs and violence. Music is an escape for Harvey to express life struggles and challenges which he and so many others face while growing up in the hood. His mesmerizing lyrics tell a story in each song that inspire and motivate while acting as the voice of the voiceless.
