Glass Repair Technicians Discover Glasweld New Online Distance Learning on the High Seas

Glass repair distance learning program works everywhere – even via satellite in the middle of the Caribbean.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Feb 24, 2009 – Nassau, Bahamas -- GlasWeld, an international solutions provider for the glass repair industry, presented its new online Distance Learning Program to 75 glass repair technicians operators last week during a national conference . The presentation of the new technology was delivered aboard a Caribbean cruise ship via satellite, clearly emphasizing the unlimited reach and ease of access that the new training platform offers to glass repair professionals.

“We were able to deliver training in the middle of the ocean without a hitch, proving further that our glass repair Distance Learning Program can give professionals on-demand training while saving time and resources,” said Scott Blondheim, GlasWeld’s Director of Distance Learning. “One of our key goals with this program is easy accessibility, and our recent experience at this conference proved the viability of this objective.”

Attendees aboard the cruise ship, which was hosting an annual conference for auto reconditioning professionals, viewed sample modules of the program in real time with GlasWeld president Mike Boyle. All those involved enthusiastically committed to completing the entire course - demonstrating a commitment to improving today’s repair practices through advanced repair and training solutions.

The Distance Learning Program helps companies focus on making the best use of resources during the current economic downturn. Robust training delivered on an online platform eliminates company costs associated with travel, lodging and time spent away from work. Users can access the program from their own computer, anytime, anywhere, in order to learn skills that will increase productivity, improve repair quality and heighten customer satisfaction.

Right now, GlasWeld has developed $300 incentive for successfully completing the online training course, as well as an additional $500 savings for trading in a qualifying repair system toward the purchase of the G3fusion Auto Glass Repair System. More information about this package can be found at www.glasweld.com/stimulus.

Sign up information for the Distance Learning Program can be found at  www.glasweld.com/Gconnect
In addition to this training program, GlasWeld University provides employers, mid-management and the auto glass repair technician many low-cost and sometimes no cost assistance. Contact GlasWeld for more information.
