SAN FRANCISCO, CA. 02/23/09 – Annuvia Inc., a national provider of CPR, AED, First Aid, and customized emergency response training services has expanded to Portland, Oregon and throughout Oregon State. Annuvia creates life-like training experiences and makes every attempt to break down the barriers associated with bystander inaction by utilizing the services of full-time emergency medical professionals.
Annuvia, unlike any other organization in the country, only uses the services of employees (as opposed to independent contractors)
, thereby ensuring a rigid hiring process and some of the most difficult training standards available. With professionals like Emergency Room Physicians, Emergency Room Nurses, Paramedics, Fire-fighter-
Paramedics, and similar professionals with years of experience, Annuvia’s instructors incorporate personal stories and anecdotes with realistic role-playing to make CPR/AED, First Aid, and customized ERT courses fun, enjoyable, and informative – thereby leaving course attendees with the confidence and skills needed to respond to a medical emergency!
Annuvia understands that, in addition to the emotional challenges of encouraging bystanders to act during an emergency, there are frequently legal and liability questions that arise – especially as they relate to Automated External Defibrillators – AEDs. Annuvia’
s team of internal, full-time attorneys is able to assist with such challenges by working with organizations so that they’re able to understand the full impact of Good Samaritan and CPR/AED related laws for any areas in which they have offices or employees – including Portland Oregon and throughout Oregon State. Since legal aspects vary significantly from state-to-state (and even on the local city and county level) Annuvia’s ability to provide transparent legal interpretation becomes even more important.
