Bernard Madoff Connected to Satanic Cult
Bernard L Madoff disgraced Wall Street swindler and perpetrator of a $50 billion ponzi scheme has been linked to a Devil worship cult.
Federal agents working with information supplied by a secret undercover informant raided the basement of a building on east 11th Street early Monday morning.
At least a dozen agents took place in the raid, busting into the building through front and rear doors.
The streets were blocked to vehicular and foot traffic between 10th and 12th streets and SWAT teams could be seen stationed on a number of roof tops in the area.
Madoff had been followed from his Upper East Side apartment by Agents, based upon the informants’ alert of an unscheduled meeting with persons of interest.
Federal agents lost Madoff's limo in traffic, and a City wide search lasted for 40 minutes until a police snitch called in a Madoff sighting on 11th Street.
In a statement issued by Special Agent Grandville of the FBI, the scheduled meeting apparently had been cut short. "Mr. Madoff had been there, and there was evidence of at least 4 or 5 other persons. There was a strong odor of sulphur and brimstone, and what appeared to be an altar with an upside down cross hanging from the ceiling.
The altar contained a red substance, possibly blood, and has been sent to the CSI lab for identification.
Neighbors who were interviewed requested that their names not be used, and stated that the building had strange things going on almost every night.
They talked about odd noises, colored lights, the smell of burning sulphur and suspicious people in strange clothing, cloaks and capes.
"They worship Satan, I tell you," a man whispered. "And that Madoff character, he was one of them; I've seen him here many times. I recognized him from his picture in the papers."
When the man was asked for his name he declined and disappeared into the shadows.
When Agent Grandville was asked about the possibility of Madoff belonging to a Devil Worship cult his response was: "There are all kinds of kooks and nuts in this city. No further comment."
