Mediaroots Video Training appoint Douglas Stewart EDU as Exclusive Educational Distributor for DVDs

Mediaroots provides affordable training titles (£34.99 EDU SRP) on the key creative applications which aim to aid the transition from the classroom to the workplace. “Not only are these training DVDs perfect for teachers and institutions focusing on creative arts but for their students who may be finding it difficult to get jobs upon completing academic courses, given the current economic climate”, said Jack Smith, Managing Director, Mediaroots. “All training DVDs teach not only the individual tools and techniques of an application, but also how to apply these to real life potential projects, such as designing a magazine cover or building a website.”
The new range of video tutorial DVDs from Mediaroots sees software such as Adobe Photoshop broken down into logical chapters, starting with the very basics and working up in difficulty to the more advanced topics. Mediaroots’ new training line is unique in that one DVD will cover both versions CS4 and CS3, which make the DVDs perfect for the educational sector, with many academic institutions having not yet upgraded to CS4, or considering the advantages of doing so.

Mediaroots offer training DVDs for the majority of applications in the Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro, as well as non-Adobe products such as Autodesk 3ds Max, QuarkXPress, Final Cut Pro and Poser.
