Despite Soft Economy, Local Car Service Provider Expands Its Fleet With Roomier Cars to Meet Growing Client Demand

RED BANK, NJ – February 20, 2009 – Citing client demand for larger vehicles, Red Bank Limo, provider of local and long distance car and limo services, has added seven-passenger sport utility vehicles to its existing fleet of Lincoln Town Cars to expand its client service options.

While many of its competitors are cutting drivers’ hours or jobs—or closing their doors entirely—Red Bank Limo has been able to not only survive, but thrive to the point where president Bill Atkins felt the need to enlarge the firm’s fleet.  “Our clients tend to be Monmouth County-based executives who take up to 50 business trips per year,” Atkins said.  “People who work that hard also enjoy sharing well-deserved vacations with their families, and a sedan just isn’t large enough to fit the parents, the kids, and their luggage.  With our new SUVs, we can continue to serve our loyal business travelers’ needs while they travel on leisure.”

With sales up more than 16% from the same period in 2008, Atkins says the SUV investment has actually served to grow his business.  “Now that we can accommodate larger parties, Red Bank Limo can accept business it once had to turn away,” Atkins said.

Mike Fredrichs, a longtime client of Red Bank Limo, agrees.  “I have been using Red Bank Limo for my business-related travel for years,” he said, “but I have always had to hire a different car service for our corporate golf outings, as my foursome—plus our clubs—wouldn’t fit into a Town Car.  Now, I can use the same car service for all of my business needs, not just my solo trips to the airport.  And I’m nearly always assigned the same driver, which is a nice touch.”
