Nortwest Indiana Homeowners can get a $1500 TAX Credit for Energy Improvements.
Up from 10% to 30%, the government is asking homeowners to become more green by giving them incentive to update their home to become more energy efficient. Homeowners will be eligible for a tax credit for up to $1500 for the next two years if they install certain Energy Star products in the home. Products such as Windows, Insulation, Roofing, Heating and Cooling Systems, Appliances, Water Heaters, and Doors can be eligible for the credit.
