AIGA Cincinnati, The Professional Association for Design is excited to announce the In Control Web Design Workshop Conference is presented on June 11-12, 2009 at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
Developed around workshop-based sessions to allow participants to access and delve deeper into information avoiding the cursory review, which is often the common complaint of most Web design conferences. Professionals and students, with varying backgrounds of Web literacy will be able to advance their knowledge and skills learning from the internationally recognized group of speakers and workshop lecturers.
Organized to bring many of the world’s leading educators and industry leaders together in an intimate and comfortable environment, participants will have the opportunity to interact and learn from the industry’s current innovative leaders.
The In Control Web Design Workshop Conference will kick-off with a keynote presentation by Khoi Vinh, Design Director for NYTimes.com, where he leads the design group in user experience innovation and is also an AIGA national board member. Attendees will also learn from such notable industry leaders as Kimberly Blessing, Aaron Gustafson, Molly E. Holzschlag, Ethan Marcotte, Juliette Melton, Greg Rewis,
Stephanie Sullivan, and Mark Trammell.
