Tasty Catering Announces New Executive Chef

Feb. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- CHICAGO - Award winning Tasty Catering today announced the addition of new executive chef Nora Renner. Having prepared meals for events attended by Oprah Winfrey, George H. Bush, Princess Diana and many other leading dignitaries and celebrities, Nora brings distinct culinary mastery to Tasty Catering. She is known for her creative menu design and consistently high client satisfaction levels.

Nora has more than 20 years of experience having worked for Calihan Catering and Alfred Mayer Catering. She also was an executive chef for Salomon Smith Barney and a chef for Motorola. "Nora's ability to create and execute innovative food concepts while maintaining focus on quality and customer satisfaction will allow us to continue to manage the growth that Tasty Catering has experienced year over year for the last 18 years," said Larry Walter, chief operating officer, Tasty Catering.

As Tasty Catering's executive chef, Nora will be responsible for designing and executing menus for all three Tasty Catering divisions - corporate drop-off, special events and picnic/outdoor events - while overseeing a culinary staff of 50. Nora studied at the Dumas Pere French cooking school in Glenview and Ecole Hoteliere du Tain Hermitage in Southern France. Her training also included the Ritz Carlton Chicago and the Michelin-rated Jean Marc Reynaud restaurant in Tain l'Hermitage, France.
