WASHINGTON, D.C. –According to a recent Gallup Poll, Americans’ frequent use of the Internet has almost doubled during the last five years. Americans are heading online to buy products, seek information, plan their lives and make business decisions. Because of this, businesses and government entities are also heading online to successfully reach their target audiences.
Sensis, a Los Angeles-based interactive advertising agency, is expanding its presence to Washington D.C., to capitalize on the federal government’s new interest in digital communication strategies. Sensis has a successful track record helping federal entities, like the U.S. Army and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), use digital communications as key components of their overall marketing and business process strategies. The agency has conducted a number of successful new media campaigns for the U.S. Army, including social media and mobile marketing, and is developing a social network for Los Angeles County.
“Interactive media is now at the forefront of all advertising strategies,”
To help serve this market, Sensis has hired Henry Klein as director of business development, East Coast. Prior to joining Sensis, Klein served as a consultant with EnteGreat, an Alabama-based information technology consulting and systems integration firm. He has also held senior-level positions at Ericcson Telecom, Luminant Corp and IBM.
“Henry is a seasoned government sales professional with almost 20 years of consultative business development experience in and around the Beltway. By combining his familiarity with federal contracts with Sensis’ interactive capabilities, we have created a go-to team for federal agencies, state and local governments and potential private sector partners needing digital marketing and Web site development solutions,” Villa said.
Sensis, a minority-owned and operated corporation, is a certified 8(a) Business Development, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and HUBZone contractor by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
