Natick, MA - Injection molding and medical device industry veteran Mark Bonifacio opens Bonifacio Consulting Services (BCS) to assist early stage, middle market, and Fortune 500 device firms with their medical device (and injection molding) manufacturing strategies. Over the last 20 plus years, Mark has worked extensively with manufacturers and medical device firms in the U.S. , Mexico and China in developing costing platforms, product launch budgets, and in analyzing manufacturing strategic options. Prior to starting his consulting firm, Mark co-founded APEC in Baldwin Park , CA (now Helix Medical). Mr. Bonifacio is currenlty an advisor to several early and midstage firms and has held various leadership roles in operations, engineering, and business development, working with and for leading device manufacturers. BCS also has deep knowledge in LIM, Silicone and medical micromolding applications. Utilizing an extensive industry network BCS also provides placement services as well as partners with specialized medical contract manufacturers and other service providers to the medical device manufacturing community. Mark holds a B.S. in Plastics Engineering from UMASS – Lowell, is a lifelong senior member of the Sociery of Plastics Engineers and remains active with UMass Lowell and the M2D2 program along with many other local medical device networking and non-profit organizations.
