Hit One Million Announces Official Launch

Feb. 17, 2009 - PRLog -- TAMPA, FL – Hit One Million officially launched its website February 10th.  The website is an experimental project in viral and Internet marketing designed to measure how fast a website can reach one million visitors.  With the progress of the project is published, visitors can also read and download additional information that will help increase blog and website traffic.

Hit One Million, an experiment in viral and Internet marketing, was created by Miguel Feliciano, president of Five3 Designs, Inc., a web design and marketing company.  The website’s intention is to provide free information about how to optimize and market a new blog or website to increase website traffic.  By using various marketing methods and chronicling the process through videos and articles, visitors will learn what methods they can use for their own blog or website.

The idea for the website came about when Miguel Feliciano decided to help small business owners learn about search engine optimization after countless requests for advice about their own websites.  Providing a medium that is natural to many people, the Hit One Million website will become a natural source for everyone to go to for videos, articles, and many downloadable materials.  Business owners savvy enough can find this kind of information online, but it’s all spread out through the Internet.

Progress reports are published on a weekly basis through the videos that can be found on YouTube at the HitOneMillion YouTube channel.  The videos explain the marketing methods that will be used for the coming week at a high level and are supplemented with articles that go into detail with steps that are easy to follow.  New screencast video formats are expected to be added soon showing first hand how to optimize web pages, market blogs and websites, and boost traffic.

Hit One Million is planning to provide a free downloadable desktop application that can look at web pages, grade them, and provide recommendations to improve the web page.  The site is looking to generate income through advertisements and sponsorship as well as a pro version of the desktop application to continue the experimental project.
