Young Entrepreneurs Have Recipe for Success by Opening BBs Coffee & Muffins in Ennis Shopping Centre

Young entrepreneurs Joe MacDonald (28) and partner Anne Marie Holland (26), have opened Ennis’s first BB’s Coffee & Muffins franchise in the Ennis Shopping Centre in County Clare.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Feb 17, 2009 – Young entrepreneurs Joe MacDonald (28) and partner Anne Marie Holland (26), have opened Ennis’s first BB’s Coffee & Muffins franchise in the Ennis Shopping Centre in County Clare.  The 1500 square foot, 60 seat café, will employ six full time and five part-time staff.

Both have a strong customer service based background and have worked with organisations such as MacDonald’s in Limerick and Ryanair where they grew with those organisations and developed sound management techniques and developed their belief that hard work and great customer service would add to BB’s great recipe for success. Joe and Anne-Marie believed their combination of skills and experience would work well in a business venture of their own so they embarked on researching a business partnership.

In researching the business that was right for them, they found that BB’s Coffee & Muffins was a refreshing brand which provided them with not only quality products but also, more importantly in the current challenging economic environment, ongoing support and training.

“We were very impressed by the set up in the BB’s Training Academy and the fact that the support network was so strong,” commented Joe MacDonald.  “They have people on the ground who you can contact at the touch of a phone that are willing to help.  Other franchise operators help you to open the store and that’s where it ends, leaving you isolated and at a loose end.  BB’s Coffee & Muffins operations are very strong due in no uncertain terms to the drive and ambition to get better every day.”

Since 1999, when BB’s Coffee & Muffins opened its first Company store in Dublin, there has been huge growth in the café culture.  With the opening of over 30 stores both Company owned and franchised locations opened since early 2007.  BB’s has developed their brand by providing their clientele with quality fresh baked muffins, pastries and sandwiches on a daily basis.  “We are offering potential franchisees a proven quality brand and expert business support,” commented David O’Connor, Franchise Manager for Ireland.

BB’s Coffee & Muffins Limerick based Training Academy, where franchisees and store managers go through a fun and informative boot camp for Barista’s along with practical hands on training on how to run a cafe. It is an extensive two week programme which will see professionals work with franchisees and managers on practical issues related to running a successful cafe, from customer service and marketing to ordering and managing staff.   “We consider training to be of paramount importance. As a new BB's Coffee & Muffins franchise partner, we provide comprehensive and ongoing training, to ensure you and your team can deliver the highest quality products and services to your customers which will be fundamental to the success of your business,” added David O’Connor.
