LCD enclosure for outdoor digital signage

In the past year they have been asked to create various custom enclosures to protect LCD displays from 21” to 60” in extreme hostile environments. One application was in an explosives factory and the other was for an airport for passenger information displays.
So they decided to create a standard product range that accommodates all LCD displays up to 60”. In December 08, they received an enquiry for a dual sided LCD enclosure; this was a prototype project and was going to be used by a small chain of gas stations in Florida. The unit had to with stand the weather - wind and rain in a storm as well as the extreme heat in the summer. Computer Security & Solutions designed and manufactured a prototype unit that was approved by the American client, ensuring that the digital signage hardware fitted easily into the enclosure.
Then the first week in January 09, they were notified that the project had been awarded to them, the interest in this project was so high and they had other Company’s who owned gas stations contacting them for similar solutions.
At the end of January 09, they had an enquiry for 12 LCD enclosures; however they would be used in extreme temperatures from -20 to 145 degrees Celsius, the enclosures were manufactured and supplied with special cooling tubes, that once set the internal temperature of the enclosure was maintained no matter if the external temperature rose or fell, this ensured the LCD displays life span was increased, irrelevant of the external temperature.
