100% natural, no parabens, no SLS, no artificial anything! All ingredients listed in plain  English (plus some Latin names too).

Ethically sourced ingredients, prepared to our own unique recipes, made in the UK.

This new collection of products is hand made using only natural ingredients, easy to use, effective and they smell amazing too!

Created by The Green Housekeeper, a small family owned and operated company based in Coniston, the heart of the English Lake District.  The company works from former farm buildings which have been sympathetically renovated into workshops and office space.

The team developed special blends of essential oils, herbal infusions, soapnuts and long trusted bicarbonate of soda.  Trials gave a great response with customers delighted with the results – cleaning became therapeutic as the blends are also uplifting and motivating.

Excited by the response – The Green Housekeeper Ltd swiftly packaged the products and feels proud to launch them for sale to the general public.

Gillian Humphreys, founder of The Green Housekeeper Ltd said ‘As a mother to seven children I do spend a lot of time cleaning, I created this range so that the housework became easier, less complicated and safer for myself, my family and the wider environment’.

All products from The Green Housekeeper are happily made by hand, to your order, and then sent out in brown paper and string (all recycled, reclaimed or donated, naturally).
