FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Feb 17, 2009 – Bizerte Tunisia –The hottest news in Tunisia right now is the building of a massive sports city in Tunis, Tunisia by The Emirati Bukhatir Group. Built with a huge spending of five billion dollars, the Tunis Sports City is expected to occupy 257 hectares of land and 3.5 million square meters of built up area.

The construction work was started in 2008, after approval from Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ali. Though at present the entire location is an unpopulated stretch undeveloped land, the plan is to build an array of sports facilities in the area. This includes five star hotels, apartments, sports academies, Boulevards, restaurants, multiplex cinemas, Medical centers, community clubs, schools, Spas, tennis courts, swimming pools, mosques, children’s play grounds, Golf courses and shopping complexes.

Overseas advisors have joined hands with the Tunisian Consultancy Company, SCET and are now doing the finalization work on technical feasibility studies for the upcoming sports city. The opening stage of the sports city project will be called “Cedar Village”. This phase of the project which is expected to be completed in two years will include the construction of lavish villas, and housing townships, all with complete recreational and community centric infrastructure.

The building of the Tunis sports city will be a significant step towards bringing amenities that are on par with global standards to the capital of Tunisia. The project has already caused a massive expectation and has also captured the interests of business sponsors worldwide as it has with the local people.

With construction work currently going on in full swing, the earliest clients are likely to start occupying the city by 2011. Considering the intensity of sponsorships pouring in and with a lot of people already looking to become customers, we can definitely expect the Tunis sports city to be an all round success Also, as the city is being built considering the tastes of both the local people as well as investors around the
globe, we can expect the pricing to strike the right balance. As a final point we can surely expect the sports city project to not only be a historic landmark but also a big commercial success.
