The Senior List® (www.theseniorlist.com) announces its Preferred Provider Program to commence March 1, 2009.  Beginning in March, senior-service providers will have an opportunity to showcase their customer satisfaction marks, and will be rewarded for it.  Providers that have at least 2 consumer-reports posted, and maintain a 3-star (or better) cumulative rating will move up to the top of the list in each respective category.  It’s a free service that makes it easier for consumers to find the best providers in their local communities.

The Senior List is an online resource that helps match people with senior-related services in their local communities.  By visiting The Senior List and clicking on a state, users can browse, add, or rate businesses in their own local communities.  Launched nationally in 2008, The Senior List has over 8,000 businesses in its growing database.

“We want our tool to be used as a resource” says Amie Clark, co-founder and COO of The Senior List.  “We developed The Senior List to bring the highest performing businesses together with consumers that are searching online.  Our new Preferred Provider Program will make it easier for users to identify the best, by allowing the cream of the crop to rise to the top”.

The Senior List is a consumer driven web portal focused in the area of senior-services.  With its unique, user friendly interface, The Senior List allows anyone to add and rate senior related businesses across the country.  Ratings are then available to all in an effort to make difficult decisions a little easier.  Beth Story, office manager at The Senior Resource Network in Beaverton Oregon says that she’s begun to use The Senior List when researching senior-housing options for clients.  “The database on The Senior List is really growing.  If consumers continue to provide feedback on facilities, it’s a win-win for everybody”.

The Senior List is an online solution that allows consumers to recommend local businesses by filling out a simple survey.  It’s a way to let your voice be heard, and the only nationwide solution of its kind.  Since the results of the surveys are posted to The Senior List, consumers can browse the vast database created by their peers to find trustworthy service providers.

The Senior List is located online at www.theseniorlist.com
