In “Efficacy,” teens learn to look at the big picture and discover their power to make things happen as they intend them to happen. John Aarons, host of the “Options To Anger” program group, leads a new group of teens as they learn about the problem cycle, weighing the costs and benefits of a choice, active listening, risky thinking, refusal skills, owning up, empathy, negotiation skills, values and attitudes, and the five steps for change.

Intended as a stand-alone class, “Efficacy” is also a fine companion to the popular “Options To Anger” class on anger management for teens.

Vstreet.com is an online, comprehensive training center for independent living skills. It contains dynamic, animated, full-length interactive curricula on key topics, like managing money, getting and keeping a job, shopping for a used car, finding an apartment, and sexual health.
