Press Release – Melanie Fontana
Divine Spell Music Group prematurely released a statement on January 6, 2009 through Syndacast stating that Melanie Fontana had signed with their label. This statement has always been inaccurate. There was a breakdown in negotiations that involved contract revisions, which caused irreconcilable differences between Fontana and Divine Spell Music Group.
Fontana is still unsigned at this time and seeking a label.
Divine Spell Music Group also released numerous statements regarding the release of Fontana’s new single “Water,” which was set to be released on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. This too is now inaccurate. The interviews set to coincide with the release of the single have been canceled.
Fontana and Melissa Otero, Founder of Divine Spell Music Group, remain amicable with one another.
