The American Society of Aesthetic Surgeons (ASAPS) will shortly be releasing their annual statistical report for 2008, by the end of February.
The organization's annual report will detail the number of times certain cosmetic surgery procedures were performed. Dr. Laurence Milgrim, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist, is available to comment on procedures such as liquid facelifts, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, laser skin resurfacing, microdermabrasion, as well as traditional facelifts, rhinoplasty, and brow lifts.
It is expected that minimally invasive procedures that have low downtime stayed strong in 2008, while more permanent solutions such as facelifts declined in number.
Dr. Milgrim's cosmetic surgery practice is The Split Rock Aesthetic Center in Wilton, CT.
