The Donut Baker brings in the New Year with more exciting donut flavours and, for the first time, the all new savory pastries. From green apple filled donuts to Chicken Tikka quiches, the Donut Baker promises to have even more exciting offerings this 2009.
The Pista Frost donut incorporates a pista flavoured icing with maple lacing. Other new donut additions include the all-time favourite chocolate chip cookie crumble donut, the donut brushed with peanut butter and roasted peanut powder and finally, the green apple filled donut.
To add to this list of delectable delights is a new take on the traditional croissant – with a hint of the donut taste and a twist of chocolate; this will ensure your taste buds are left satiated.
Speaking about the savory pastries, Joseph Cherian, MD, Global Franchise Architects, said. “For the first time ever, The Donut Baker will also cater to those who do not have a sweet tooth; with classic Quiches, ranging from BBQ cottage cheese and corn & mushroom to Chicken Tikka and Grilled Chicken smothered in a rich Cheese sauce.”
Also available will be a variety of Vol-au-vents - a very light puff pastry case loaded with the favourite fillings such as Paneer Tikka, Corn n’ mushroom, Tandoori chicken and smoked chicken mixed with white sauce mozzarella on top.
The Donut Baker, which launched in India in December 2007 has been a huge hit in all cities.
