Music fans around the world have spoken

February 14, 2009, Atlanta, GA – Fans are giving no love to Chris Brown on this Valentine’s Day. The Ultimate Dream Concert, the industry-changing platform that is allowing fans to determine the performing artists and groups at a mega concert event, has reported a severe decline in the popularity of Chris Brown. The survey, being administered by marketing and promotional firm, poshplatinum.com, has revealed results that knock Chris Brown completely out of the running.
poshplatinum.com President and CEO, Vanessa Carmack, states, “Through the Ultimate Dream Concert survey, music fans decide who will perform at the mega event. While fans are typically loyal and immovable, they obviously will not tolerate such abhorrent behavior. Our system has been flooded with “new” surveyors, and Chris Brown is not on the list.”
Reliable sources have not yet provided a clear depiction of the exact events that occurred last weekend, but enough has leaked to cause once dedicated fans to withdraw their fan club memberships. Also as a result, Brown has reportedly lost lucrative contracts with Wrigley Gum and the “Got Milk” ad campaigns.
“The music industry is ever changing. One thing we know for sure is that even through controversy, the artists with the strongest fan-base have exhibited undeniable staying power. Artists such as R. Kelly and Michael Jackson are prime examples. Only time will tell if Chris Brown has this same effect on fans.” Carmack stated.
When survey results were released just 5 days ago, poshplatinum.com reported Chris Brown as the number 2 pick to perform in the Ultimate Dream Concert – second only to Beyonce. As of today, February 14, 2009, Chris Brown isn’t even in the top 10. Ironically, Rihanna has climbed to the top of the survey, replacing Brown’s spot at number 2.
