Feb. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Sagemont ‘s scouts in grades 4 & 5, along with their troop leaders Julie Schear and Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, are to be commended for demonstrating the importance of giving to others!  More than 200 boxes of cookies will be delivered to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center within the next few weeks by these amazing young students! This is part of The Sagemont School’s commitment to its Kids Helping Kids Foundation which was formed this year.  Together we can all make a difference.

The Kids Helping Kids Foundation benefits the pediatric oncology unit at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.  The Sagemont School’s Kids Helping Kids Foundation was established this year to donate money that will go directly to cancer research for childhood cancer and to provide the needed support for families with a child in treatment. The Sagemont School lower school campus will sponsor several events this year at the school to raise awareness and money to benefit this cause.

The Sagemont School operates two campuses in Weston. The Lower School Campus serves students in PreK3- Grade 5; the Upper School Campus serves Grade 6 through 12.  The faculty and staff at The Sagemont School are dedicated to parent-teacher relationships in a high-tech learning environment.  With multiple computers in each classroom, and small class size, children are learning the skills they will need to be successful both in school and later in life.  Visit The Sagemont School Web site at http://www.sagemont.com
