Quito, Ecuador Hosts Travel Agencies and Travel Press at “Ecuador Verde” Tourism Fair

Feb. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- "Ecuador Verde" is Ecuador's official tourism fair and takes place in Quito, April 9-12, 2009.

The Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism, the National Association of Tour Operators, Hotels and Tour Guides of Ecuador, and the Quito Municipal Tourism Company cordially invite international travel agencies and members of the travel press to attend the event and the free FAM Trips before and after the event.

"Tourism to Ecuador and the Andean countries is poised to grow even during the global economic crisis due to the fact that traveling to these countries is a true bargain," says Jason Halberstadt, CEO of V!VA Travel Guides (http://www.vivatravelguides.com) who publishes guidebooks on Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Prearranged meetings between international buyers and Ecuadorian hotels and tour operators will provide excellent networking opportunities for travel agencies. The FAM Trips will enable attendees to visit the Galapagos Islands, the Andes, the Amazon rain forest, and Ecuador's pristine coastal areas.

For qualified international travel agencies and members of the travel press, all expenses except for flights and park entrance fees are paid by the conference organizers. Once you arrive to Quito airport, all ground transportation, lodging, food and tours are organized for you and are free of charge.
