Altamont Springs, FL – SIGVARIS & Perfect Medical Solutions will host a compression therapy healthy leg day, during the Eastmont Civic Center’s Senior Health Fair in Altamonte Springs, FL on February 18, 2009 from 10 am to 1 pm. The Eastmont Civic Center is located at 830 Magnolia Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
The Healthy Leg Day is being held to help men and women prevent or treat leg health issues such as swelling, varicose veins, lymphedema, DVTs or other venous disease symptoms that may appear as a result of heredity, age, cancer treatment, pregnancy or other medical conditions.
This Healthy Leg Day is designed to:
• Raise awareness of the causes of leg health issues such as swelling, varicose veins, lymphedema, or DVT [deep vein thrombosis],
• Prevent or treat leg health issues with compression therapy stockings [also known as support hose] or socks, and
• Educate the consumer on the proper fit and care of graduated compression socks and stockings.
