CBS Evening News Exclusive Features Mondo International, Inc.

Feb. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- Mondo International, Inc a worldwide company providing logistics, transportation and distribution services in Afghanistan was featured in an exclusive report for the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. The report by Sheila MacVicar on February 6 focused on the need for a new NATO supply route and aired on the same week Taliban militants blew up a vital bridge along the Khyber pass between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

In the report, CBS News featured Mondo International’s Senior Vice President Kevin Curtis discussing the immediate need for a new alternate northern route into Afghanistan due to increased violence along the existing route. To demonstrate the results of these brutal attacks and costly theft of supplies by CBS video showed U.S. military equipment for sale on the open market in the Pakistani border town of Peshawar.
