SlightlySick U (SSU) (www.slightlysick-u.com), the online student, or community based blog, for SlightlySick.com (www.slightlysick.com), recently finished a substantial website upgrade.  The new website offers all the same content that SSU students expect, but is much easier to navigate and has many enhanced features.  SSU, is based, on a traditional online University, however, unlike other blogs available online, does not exclude or limit content.  SSU allows its students to pick the topics or courses they want to learn and discuss more about.  “Because of the broad spectrum of potential classes to be offered, we are always looking for new topics and issues to be shared and discussed within our community,” states Dan Slatkin, Content Manager for SlightlySick.com, which hosts SSU.    

For its grand re-opening, SSU is offering a whole host of incentives for professors interested in teaching class.  A few of the prizes include: free custom shirt give-a-ways for qualified posts and a limited run ‘I’m a Professor at SlightlySick-U’ hooded sweatshirt for those bloggers who post more than 15 classes in a semester.  In addition to free apparel give-a-ways, professors and/or limited run professors are given free banner postings and links back to their website within their chosen class.  Lastly, through SBE Multi-Media (www.sbemedia.com), SlightlySick’s parent company, professors can create their own free online e-Commerce store and sell class related products and designs on various apparel, with fulfillment services being offered through SBE Media.
