FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 11, 2009 -
Eugene, OR-Dealing with money can be a major hassle. Teens new to independent living are especially vulnerable to credit problems, scams, and out-of-control spending habits. The latest full-length course on Vstreet.com, Money Medical: Healthy Money Management, gives young people the skills and insights to take charge of their financial lives.

In Money Medical, youth learn lessons on budgeting, banking, credit and loans, credit counseling and smart spending. They are guided step-by-step through the process of building a budget and are given the tools to stick to their budgets.

The course moves beyond dollars and cents when it delves into the emotions and attitudes that affect how people handle their money, and sheds light on the process of changing unhealthy money feelings and attitudes.

The course was developed by Lee White, President of Northwest Media, Inc., with the advice and assistance of Brad Klontz, Psy.D, co-author of “Wired for Wealth: Change the Money Mindsets That Keep You Trapped and Unleash Your Wealth Potential,”
“The Financial Wisdom of Ebenezer Scrooge: 5 Principles to Transforming Your Relationship With Money,” and “Facilitating Financial Health: Tools for Financial Planners, Coaches and Therapists.”
