MaintenanceNet, Inc. Adds Technology Industry Veteran Fritz Hesse to Executive Team

Feb. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Carlsbad, Calif. -- MaintenanceNet, Inc., the leading provider of extended warranty and maintenance contract management services, today announced that Fritz Hesse, a technology industry veteran with experience as both an entrepreneur and a high-level executive at such well known organizations as Intuit Inc. and J.D. Edwards, has joined the privately held company as vice president of operations.  

Hesse brings 20 years of software industry experience, in both enterprise and consumer products, to MaintenanceNet.  Most recently, he served as vice president of engineering for Intuit’s consumer tax group, where he led software engineering teams in the development and maintenance of shared technologies supporting TurboTax and other products. Prior to that, Hesse was CEO and president of Focus Now Solutions, a software solutions and consulting company that he co-founded in 2004.

Earlier in his career, Hesse spent 15 years with J.D. Edwards (acquired by PeopleSoft and then Oracle Corp.) in roles including vice president of engineering for CRM and ERP products; vice president of development operations and software quality; director of development; and software developer for financial, supply chain and human resources applications. He also served as a member of the technical staff at Rockwell International, in Inglewood, CA.  Hesse holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.
