Join Independence Visitor Center on Friday, February 20th, 2009, as the story and legacy of Harriet Tubman is brought to life. Meet the famous conductor of the Underground Railroad, known for making 19 trips in order to bring slaves to freedom. Listen to the storyteller describe the pursuits of former slaves who made the daring journey to freedom, such as Peter Still and Oney Judge and watch as Ms. Tubman amazes you with her true tales of struggle and sacrifice.
