Based in Montevideo, Liliana Buchtik is a the President of Buchtik Global, a consulting and training firm providing services in project management and information technology in Spanish and English, working in North America, Europe and Latin America in industry, government, and not-for-profit sectors. Liliana provides consulting and training services to PMI, and previously worked on the Uruguayan Judicial System Fortifying Program and the Project for Improvement of the Service in Tribunals, and managed the Jurisdictional Software Development area, for the Uruguayan Department of Justice. She has taught International project management at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences in Austria, dictated IS classes at ORT Uruguay University, and taught at the ISEDE School of Business in Uruguay. She also delivered PMP® prep courses for the PMI Montevideo Chapter. She has published articles on project management in various international publications, and has been a speaker and keynote at various regional and international events.
Liliana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Analysis from ORT Uruguay University. She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) in the USA. Liliana has a Diploma in Directing People from ISEDE School of Business in Uruguay, and is a graduate of the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class of 2007, USA. In 2007 she served in the PMI Component Mentor Program Advisory Group, in 2006 she was the PMI Component Mentor for Southern Latin-America, in 2005 she served in the PMI Board of Directos Other Committee EAC, and was the PMI® Montevideo Chapter President in 2004.
