GREENSBORO, N.C. – Phase 3 Communications announced today that they have selected Senior Resources of Guilford to receive pro bono services to assist Guilford County senior citizens. The firm worked with the non-profit agency to launch Roses for Meals, a One to One marketing campaign.
“Currently, there is a waiting list for the Meals on Wheels Program that is part of our services,” said Ellen Whitlock, Executive Director for Senior Resources of Guilford. “We called on Phase 3 Communications to use their newest communication technologies to help us generate awareness of the great need in our community.”
For the cost of a dozen roses (approximately $84), a senior can be fed for a month. The One to One marketing campaign Phase 3 Communications developed prompts donors to substitute the purchase of roses for their sweetheart for a donation to the Senior Resources’ meal program. Those interested may participate in giving throughout the year by going online to www.rosesformeals.com to make a donation in honor of a special someone in their lives. The recipient will receive an electronic bouquet of roses or gift card acknowledging the gift made in their honor. The major push for the campaign is through Valentine’s Day but the web site will be available for all of 2009.
