Green Real Estate Education wins contest by stating their shade of green in the February 2009 issue of CTN Green, a leading publisher of quality content for the green consumer.
"CTN Green covers not only information of green lifestyle products, fuel concerns, green expos but shows the reader to what will redirect the course of the nation's economy.
“Many publications will join in reporting on issues involving the new green revolution but CTN Green is extremely professional in their appearance, and their colors and graphics are superior to anything I have seen.”
Green Real Estate Education is the leader in green education in the real estate arena. Their offerings include information on green building, energy tax incentives, energy ratings, and climate issues for a price point of under $100 that has attracted 4,000 professionals in just under 22 months. Students who complete Green Real Estate Education courses will have a logo and manual to use for their marketing efforts.
Ms. Mitchell continues, “When CTN Green asked folks to write about their personal shade of green, our Chairman of Global Strategy, John Owens, stated our vision and our passion beautifully.”
The company started teaching their real estate agent course in Florida in mid 2007 and now their certification course for real estate professionals is not only approved by ARELLO, an organization that scrutinizes course content offerings, but in 15 states nationwide for continuing education credits.
John P. Owens, says, "We are forming alliances with "green" companies who want to expose their green services, social networks and green living products and systems to those in the mortgage and real estate professionals. These professionals need to understand what is available for the clients they serve, property owners. When CTN Green highlights our company, we get “leading edge” technology, a professional look and feel, and all recognize that the quality of their publication is second to none in the marketplace. ” With the economic meltdown in the United States, the real estate industry is showing interest for new ways to reach their clients. Consumers want to know how to implement "green concepts" in their lifestyle and living space. The fact that the company offers this education for under $100 to those in the real estate industry is evident of their success as they have quadrupled revenue in 2008. "We move now towards the mortgage professionals who need green education as much as the real estate agents and home inspectors."
says Owens. Starting with classroom classes sometimes with only 8-16 in a class, Green Real Estate Education attracted close to 100 when they taught in Honolulu, Hawaii for Coldwell Banker, a division of Realogy Corporation, one of the largest real estate industry firms in the country. Owens continues, “Companies such as Weichert, ERA, Keller Williams and Better Homes and Gardens brand for Realogy have shown interest in the company's certification program. “Working with CTN Green has been a pleasure. They are very concerned on how they represent the green industry and we are too.” The certification program and the company’s courses are requested from individual professionals, real estate boards, small companies and large companies. Mr. Owens adds, " We receive requests from mortgage professionals for guidance on energy financing products, forms and tax incentives they do not even know exist. We will be launching our "Mortgage Green Leadership" certification to meet the demand as this industry gets more involved in the new "green revolution and real estate appraisers are next on our agenda."
