The California Warriors Adult Minor League Football Team, a not for profit member of the NCFL in Northern California, and based in Fremont, California, play our home games at San Jose's PAL Stadium in San Jose. The Gate proceeds from scrimmages and games are donated to the youth PAL football program under the direction of Lamont Cusseaux, currently on the coaching staff of the Warriors. The Warriors formed this partnership with PAL to help bring in donations for their youth football activities and defer some minor expenses the team incurs operating during the 2009 season. This coming Saturday, February 14th, the Warriors will host the Modesto Raiders in a preseason scrimmage. The scrimmage begins at 11:00am and will run approximately 2 hours with the gate admission fee being $5.00 per person. All properly credentialed media will be allowed in free of charge to cover our event and access will be granted should they desire to interview PAL or the Warriors' team members. We hope to get a large contingency of people out in support of this event despite these tough economic times to help pay these costs for our community youth so they can play in the 2009 season. Thank you very much for your generous support, Tim Mendoza, General Manager, California Warriors.
