Atlanta-based consulting firm Transform announced Monday that it has been awarded a contract at Global Aero Logistics – parent company of World Airways and North American Airlines – to lead an initiative identifying opportunities for improving the costs associated with crew travel. The initiative will provide an integrated assessment focused on crew management, hotel and GDS booking systems, scheduling, financial systems, and their associated processes at both World Airways and North American Airlines.

By examining both the core and upstream processes and systems for crew travel, and taking an integrated approach to optimizing those functions, airlines have the opportunity to realize significant benefits in the areas of cost, productivity, and operational efficiency.
