Twenty-one Founders For European Knowledge Platform About Electronic Invoicing

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 9, 2009 - ARNHEM (NL), January 30, 2009 - The European Electronic Invoicing (EEI) Platform has expanded since it was announced in the autumn of last year. The objective of this partnership is to give more publicity to the subject of electronic invoicing. The reason for this intention lay in the many benefits that the use of digital invoices (and the automated processing) over the manual handling of the traditional paper bill. Savings in time, environment, money and the large decrease of input errors serve businesses and consumers the benefits of switching to digital invoicing. Many software solutions have already been developed and are available on the market.

The aim of the European Electronic Invoicing (EEI) Platform is to improve the current implementation degree in Europe. Platform ELFA, the Dutch version of the EEI Platform, plays an influential role on the stage of electronic invoicing in the Netherlands. By including the sharing and dissemination of knowledge and information and building networks, EEI Platform expects to contribute to the general public opinion about the usefulness of e-billing.

The Founding Partners of the EEI Platform consist of organisations from Belgium, Finland, France, Great Britain, The Netherlands and Switzerland.
