The Construction Student Website is on a mission to alert potential students of an offer that is just too good to miss! Many young people about to embark upon a course of study at University may not be aware that they can apply for the Construction Skills Inspire Scholarship which offers 60 successful applicants a grant of £9,000 to help them achieve a degree in a construction related subject.
David Cross, who runs the website, says: “These kinds of schemes tend not to be very well publicised and often it’s only people ‘in the know’ who get the chance to apply. Hopefully, by doing all I can to publicise this, it might give someone the opportunity that they might have otherwise missed?”
Anyone hoping to study for a construction related degree can apply and the scholarship will be awarded on merit to 60 individual students. Courses eligible include building services engineering;
Applications must be completed by 28th February so there is no time to waste!
The Inspire Scholarship Scheme is organised by ConstructionSkills and aims to address the skills shortage within the construction industry.
