Feb. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- http://www.simplyeighties.com is the brand new, essential website dedicated to the 1980's.

It's much more than just another information site, though. You can play free, instant video games such as Donkey Kong, Pacman, Space Invaders, Asteroids and Qbert - and they're all just like the originals! Their are many other games, too, and the list will grow over the coming months.

Take a trip down memory lane with free 80's videos. These include must-see music videos, interviews, TV shows and TV ads. There are some rare and classic moments such as Culture Club on Jim'll Fix It and Frankie Goes To Hollywood on Saturday Superstore.

Watch Frank Bough and Selina Scott on BBC's Breakfast Time, or the "Finger of Fudge" advert by Cadbury's. Remember Ronnie Barker doing the Walkers Crisps advert? There are too many brilliant moments to list here - visit the site to see them all!

You can also read brand new blogs from 80's icons such as Duran Duran and Kim Wilde. There are lots of essential links to other sites, including Myspace profiles and other eighties sites.

The "I Had One Of Those" page features some of the best and worst products of the Eighties. These include the disastrous Sinclair C5, Cabbage Patch Dolls, Mullets and Hand-Held Space Invaders. More will be added over the coming months, so it's well worth visiting regularly.

We revisit the old 8-bit home computers such as the ZX Spectrum, Atari 800XL and BBC Micro on the computers page. Like myself, you may remember typing in pages of code just to get a your name to run across the screen - great days!

If you visit http://www.myspace.com/simplyeighties you can visit lots of eighties friends such as Eurythmics, Holly Johnson, B52's, Duran Duran etc. You can also access the simplyeighties website from the Myspace profile by clicking on "Band's Website". There are also many other new music acts here, many of them have an 80's sound - the simplyeighties Myspace profile is well worth visiting!

Whenever you wish to visit the website or Myspace profile, I recommend using Google at the moment, as it seems to be taking forever to appear in other browsers such as Yahoo and Ask. Hopefully, things will change soon!

What are you waiting for? Relive those golden days right now by visiting http://simplyeighties.com
